ZetaSafe staff enjoyed the benefits of being part of the new Silverstone Park community with a BBQ and networking event against the backdrop of the legendary race track and FI Grand Prix Car testing.
Silverstone Park developer MEPC’s summer BBQ for companies and staff based at the estate marked the latest highlight of a busy calendar of social activities.
The event, with music from a steel band, attracted 300 people from companies across Silverstone Park estate – the majority operating in the high-tech engineering, others in professional services that support this sector.
MEPC’s Roz Bird, Commercial Director for Silverstone Park, commented: “It was great to see so many people turn out for our annual BBQ and thanks again to Silverstone UTC for allowing us to hold the event on its terrace overlooking the Silverstone circuit which will shortly stage the British Formula 1 Grand Prix.
“We listen carefully to our companies’ needs and are therefore able to arrange events tailored to their staff’s needs – helping them to attract and retain the best people. The events also help get people talking to one another in a relaxed environment which of course can open doors when it comes to business opportunities.
“We have an excellent events co-ordinator in Ruth Williams and I would encourage people – whether with ideas for industry events or additional social activities – to contact her with their suggestions and queries.”
